Video Live Streaming - Web Version Usage Tutorial

I. Function Introduction

The web-based instructor console is a tool for elink instructors to conduct live streams on the web. It is suitable for scenarios where desktop sharing, PPT courseware presentation, and instructor appearance are required. Compared with the desktop client, the web-based instructor console is easier to use and more straightforward to operate.


PS: You need to use Google Chrome for live streaming on the web-based instructor console. Google Chrome has better compatibility and will provide a better live streaming experience!

II. Purpose of Use

Using the web-based instructor console allows you to conveniently conduct live streams on the web, enabling real-time video, courseware & desktop sharing, and other live streaming content.

III. Use Scenarios

Web-based live streaming is suitable for scenarios where desktop sharing, PPT courseware presentation, and real-time video live streaming with students are required.

IV. Operation Path

Merchant console: Merchant backend → Live streaming → Go live → Teach on computer → Web-based

V. Usage Tutorial

Step 1: Create a live stream (Management backend)

1. Enter the management backend - Create a new live stream

2. Fill in the live stream information and instructor settings, and click the Save button to complete the live stream creation.image.png

Step 2: After creation, click 'Go live' (Management backend)

1. Click 'Go live'

2. Select 'Web-based' for live streaming (Management backend)


Step 3: Enter the web-based instructor console and conduct live stream debugging (Web-based instructor console)

1. After entering the live stream room, follow the prompts to check if your camera and microphone are working properly

2. You can upload relevant courseware PDFs in advance

Step 4: Start the live stream (Web-based instructor console)

1. After the devices and courseware are uploaded, click 'Start live stream' in the top-left corner to begin the live stream

2. Click 'Camera', 'Courseware' & 'Screen sharing' on the left to switch the live stream mode at any time

When the live stream mode is 'Screen sharing', you can click 'Switch window' on the right to switch the screen window
